The joy of Jerusalem was heard from afar.

Nehemiah 12:42b-43, And the singers sang, with Jezrahiah their leader, and on that day they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced because God had given them great joy, even the women and children rejoiced, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard from afar.

There’s nothing like restoration after destruction and generations of exile to put things in perspective. And the perspective is this: we can be thankful and rejoice because of all that He has done and is doing, not only in our lives, but across the world.

We give You praise for all that You are doing; for opportunities to tell others Your good news!
