O God, do not be still.
Ps 83:1-4, O God, do not remain quiet; do not be silent and, O God, do not be still. For, behold, Thine enemies make an uproar; and those who hate Thee have exalted themselves. They make shrewd plans against Thy people, and conspire together against Thy treasured ones. They have said, "Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more."
Somehow this reads like the nightly news, we hear this cry again today. Once again, by amazing events there is a nation of Israel. And even though they have not yet recognized Him who was pierced, God is moving in His amazing way to bring about what He has promised in scripture. The indignation against Israel is really against Him, the One who chose that nation in the first place, and against His Son. We can take heart, for even though it is now fashionable in our own country to rail against Christ and His church, we know that His word will not return to Him void!
We thank You for revival in our own time, that many may come to know You while the day is yet Today.
