A still more excellent way.

1 Corinthians 12:27-13:1, All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they? But earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more excellent way. If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

Sometimes our thinking is upside down, we desire to do something great for God, and yet we may miss the simplest and most important aspect: love. It's clearly the foundation for anything we do. We know what love really is, "Jesus Christ laid down His life for us." Do we earnestly desire this foundation of love, even more than the greatest gifts He might give us?

We earnestly desire to love with Your love, even more than our desire for greater gifts!
