Are you not my work in the Lord?
1 Corinthians 9:1-2, Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? If to others I am not an apostle, at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
Paul clearly had his eyes on what was important. He was called directly by the risen and ascended Lord Jesus Christ and given a vision that he could not reveal because of its "surpassing greatness." He could easily have been caught up in the importance of all that, but kept his eyes on what was really important: that others come to know Christ. What is important to us?
Lord, please keep our eyes on what is important, that other people come to know You!
