But one body.

1 Corinthians 12:17-20, If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired. And if they were all one member, where would the body be? But now there are many members, but one body.

We live in a very competitive world. It's far too easy for us to allow this competition to carry over to the body of Christ, to fail to see the marvelous blessing in having different members. If God has placed each of us in His body, can we learn to look at each other and see His body? Can we recognize our need for each other, especially considering that there is a spiritual battle raging around us?

We thank You for eyes to see those who are so necessary, placed by You into Your body, fitting together for Your purposes!
