It doesn't get much plainer than this. Paul is not specific about what particular kind of immorality; he just wants us to get away from it! I made a new friend last year, a young man who has emigrated from Kuwait. He was struggling to learn our language and culture and told me of a situation with a woman he had to work with. I got out one of my 3x5 cards and wrote down one word for him: "RUN!" He understood what I meant despite the language barrier! Paul wants us to take our calling seriously, to remember who we are in Christ, and to be His witnesses.
Give us Your wisdom and protection, O Lord, that we may be Your witnesses.
