I will send Him to you.
John 16:7, "But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper shall not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you."
We have His promise, that He would not abandon us as orphans, that He would send His Helper to us. Peter assured us that this promise was for all believers. In our culture of self-dependence, we seem to think that we have to know it all, that we have to make it on our own. How many times has He been ready to help us, but we have not been ready to ask? How can He help me today? Whose life is he ready to touch if only I will ask for His help?
Change my heart, that I might seek Your help every day, for I know that without You I can do nothing on my own. Come, Holy Spirit, help me, today!
