The Lord Will Provide.
Genesis 22:14, And Abraham called the name of that place The LORD Will Provide, as it is said to this day, "In the mount of the LORD it will be provided."
Abraham knew that His provision was from the Lord, as indeed he told the servants that he and his son would go to worship the Lord and both return. And he saw beyond the provision of the moment to the time when God would provide the perfect sacrifice to save the world through His promised Seed. We know Him as Jesus Christ our Lord, who has offered the perfect sacrifice to reconcile the debt we could never pay.
Thank You Lord, for sending Jesus Christ to pay the debt we could never pay!
