"I will put My law within them."

Jeremiah 31:33-34, "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. And they shall not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

What an amazing world this will be when this prophecy is fulfilled. Even though we know what is right, we struggle and often fail. We know His commandments, but that knowledge brings us up short, for we know that without His strength we cannot keep them. We long for the day when His law is within our hearts, our nature changed for eternity!

I thank You that even though I do not do what I know to do, that You are always ready to forgive; we long for the day when we shall be transformed by Your glory!
