His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.
Daniel 4:1-3, Nebuchadnezzar the king to all the peoples, nations, and men of every language that live in all the earth: "May your peace abound! It has seemed good to me to declare the signs and wonders which the Most High God has done for me. How great are His signs, and how mighty are His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation."
The king was able to declare the truth, and yet we know from scripture that even though he knew the truth, it did not change his heart. We know that even the enemies of God will give feigned obedience to Him when confronted by His power. While we may know the truth, are we living like we know it? Are we allowing Him to make a difference in our lives, to obey His truth?
Help us to be doers of Your word and not only hearers, that our obedience to You might bring glory to Your name!
