He who is forgiven little, loves little.
Luke 7:46-47, "You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with perfume. For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little."
We don't know why the Pharisee invited Jesus into his home, but we do know that this woman did more than just invite Jesus to dinner. She anointed Him in faith, recognizing her own great need, and was not disappointed. When we invite Him in, do we really recognize our great need as did this woman, or are we blinded to our own great need for Him?
Open my eyes to my great need for You, open my eyes to all that You have forgiven.
