They are like children.

Luke 7:31-32, "To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like? They are like children who sit in the market place and call to one another; and they say, 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.'"

This sounds like our own time, where "each one does what is right in his own eyes." Truly, our only hope is in Jesus Christ. One of my friends believes that there is nothing left for our culture but deeper apostasy; perhaps God in His great mercy has room for another great revival?

We pray for Your great mercy to prevail, for great revival; for we know that it is not Your desire that any should perish, but come to a knowledge of Your great salvation!
