"Stretch out your hand!"
Luke 6:10-11, And after looking around at them all, He said to him, "Stretch out your hand!" And he did so; and his hand was restored. But they themselves were filled with rage, and discussed together what they might do to Jesus.
It’s amazing to think of the miracles of Jesus being criticized over what was thought to be acceptable on the Sabbath. The rules of that time were somehow deemed to be more important than the power of God, even when an amazing benefit came to the one who was healed. Is it happening today, are we so concerned about our own methods and rules that we are not able to accept the power of God moving as He sees fit? One of my teachers once challenged us to think about this: when we pray for revival, are we really ready to accept all who will come?
We stand in awe of Your power, help us to lay aside our own ideas of what You should be doing to bring glory to Your name.
