One of my teachers had us underline the places where Jesus went away from the crowds by Himself to pray, and there were many. We live in the time where we have an amazing array of ways to entertain ourselves, and it seems that we have no time left over in our days. Are we missing out on the true value of solitude, and spending time with the One who has always loved us? Perhaps we could start just by turning down the volume during our daily driving and inviting His presence to go with us? We always seem to make time for those things that are really important!
Lead me in Your ways, with Your "still, small voice." Help me to keep my priorities straight, O Lord.
