The throne of grace.

Hebrews 4:15-16, For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.

This is some of the best news of the good news, that He is able to sympathize with us when we stumble and fall. Even when we are tempted, our natural tendency is to cover it up, pretend nothing is happening and that it’s not a temptation. That’s exactly when He wants to see us turn to Him for help, to get even closer to His amazing throne of grace where help is available!

Help me to remember to run with confidence to Your throne of grace whenever I need help, especially when I face temptation.
