Engage in good deeds.

Titus 3:8, This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men.

Our salvation doesn’t depend upon our good deeds, for we are saved "according to His great mercy." The good deeds that He has in store for us are part of His grace and mercy, and may give us a way to share His good news with others. We can confidently look for the possibilities He opens up, taking our eyes off of ourselves and our own desires.

Open the way to those good deeds that bring glory to Your name; give us the opportunity to bring Your good news to someone.
