Arise, shine; for your light has come!

Isaiah 60:1-3, "Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you. And nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising."

Certainly the darkness is real. The light of Christ has indeed come, as a suffering servant. And we long for the day when faith will become sight, when the heavens will be rolled aside as a scroll, and all will see Him in His glory. That glory is indeed coming, and He has work for us to do in the meantime. There are those who do not yet know Him who are ready, who are seeking. Let us ask the Lord of the harvest to show us who that might be!

Show us one who is seeking You, use us in any way to bring Your light into the life of another.
