Encourage one another day after day.

Hebrews 3:12-13, Take care, brethren, lest there should be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart, in falling away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

What is denied by the world, and indeed by many who call themselves believers, is that there is an active, willful deceiver, and that sin itself seems at first to give us pleasure, but then turns to devour. We come to Christ by believing in Him, by putting our trust in Him and that He has done what He said He would do. This scripture makes it clear that we need each other as believers, to encourage each other to believe His promises. And scripture makes it clear that there were those unable to enter into God’s Promised Land because of unbelief.

Help us to encourage each other and to build our belief; "Lord, I do believe, help my unbelief!"
