The power of God.

1 Corinthians 1:17-18, For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written,"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside."

We have seen an amazing example of this over the past year directly related to the cross. The incredible film, "The Passion of the Christ," was opposed every step of the way. The wise and clever of our day did everything possible to put it down, and are still doing so today by refusing to recognize the film in ways that it no doubt deserves. Despite the wisdom of the world, we will no doubt see the power of God at work for many years as lives are touched by the drama and passion of our Lord Jesus Christ.
