His finished works.

Hebrews 4:2-3, For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard. For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, "As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest," although His works were finished from the foundation of the world.

We think we see things "as they are," but He is the One who is able to see His finished works. When we are tempted to worry, we can remember that we have His word, and we have united His word with faith. The most amazing truth is that "we who have believed enter that rest." It’s not that we will enter it someday, but that we have entered it.

We give thanks that indeed we are "saved by faith through grace, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God."
