The things which He suffered.
Hebrews 5:8-10, Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.
Fortunately, He is the One who is perfect; we know that we are not. Even in His perfection, there was suffering. Even though He walked on water, He was not above suffering. It’s not a question of if we are going to suffer, but a question of what we do when we do suffer. Are we able to keep our minds on Him who suffered, to know that even in that suffering He has been there? As we focus on Him and remember what He suffered, we know that God is working even in suffering to bring us closer to Him.
We seek to know You more and more, we thank You that You are with us always, especially in our times of suffering.
