God’s children.

1 John 3:2-3, Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

We know that it is not by works of righteousness that we have done that make us His, but it is by His grace and mercy that Jesus Christ, pure beyond any other has done all that we could not do. On our own we stumble and fall and yet by His purity and perfection we are made pure! All we have done is to lay down our rebellion and come to the cross to receive all that He has done for us. And one day when He appears, we shall be like Him!

Thank You that by Your blood we are made pure, holy and set apart as God’s children!
