“Ask in My name.”
John 16:26-28, “In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf; for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”
When we love Jesus, and believe in Him, we are seen by the Father as His own, made perfect in Christ. And we have access to the Father just as Jesus did. Jesus walked daily with the Father, He took time to be with Him and to listen to Him. Do we take time to listen to Him, for His “still, small voice” leading and guiding us into all that He wants to do?
Give us this day our daily bread, every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, that we may hear Your voice and obey Your commandments!
