The definite plan and foreknowledge of God.

Acts 2:22-24, “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know— this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.”

Peter was the one who openly denied Jesus on the night of His arrest, most of the other disciples fled disheartened. They did not understand until He rose from the dead, opened the scriptures to them. Jesus charged them to go to all the world with His good news, making disciples. They were to wait until they received power when the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they were transformed by His gifts into men and women willing to give up their own lives for the good news of Jesus. His great sacrifice was the definite plan of God, for all of us!

We thank You for Your amazing plan that enables us to be adopted as Your own!
