We confess.
1 Timothy 3:16, Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: he was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
Jesus said that in seeing him, the disciples saw the Father. He who is eternal laid did not cling to his glory and took the form of a servant, the Son of Man. And in his human form, he was obedient to the point of death on the cross, paying the price we could never pay to release us from the bondage of sin. He rose from the dead, the eternal, immortal living Son of God, the firstborn of many to whom he gives new life. And he is even now taken up in glory: eternal, immortal, invisible; soon to return in glory as reigning King of King and Lord of Lords!
Thank you for revealing your mystery of salvation through Jesus Christ; we confess that he is Lord of all! Maranatha, come soon Lord Jesus!
