To him be glory.

Ephesians 3:20, Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Do we really see him as being able to do “far more abundantly than all that we ask or think?” Or are we more like the people of his own hometown, who thought they knew the carpenter’s son and that for lack of faith he could do no miracles there? Why not ask him to reveal himself and to tear down our false ideas about him, to release his power that is at work within us, to bring glory to his name?

We look to you who can do far more than we ask or think; use your power within us to bring glory to your name!
