He has delivered us.
Colossians 1:13-14, He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
“It is finished” is echoed here, for we are adopted as his children and transferred out of darkness into the kingdom of his light. Jesus is the light of the world, and he asks us to let his light shine wherever we go today. Our knowledge of him isn’t just to add more facts into our heads; it is to be worked out in our daily obedience to his commands. What might he reveal as we walk in faith today?
