Children of light.

1 Thessalonians 5:3-5, While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.

Since we are children of light, we have a responsibility to be effective in opening the eyes of those whom God is calling. Do we have a list of those others who do not know him, and are we lifting them up in prayer that God may have mercy in a time when he may be found?

We lift up those who do not know you as those who are called according to your purpose; convict us to intentionally pray without ceasing for those who do not know you!
