Hebrews 12:3, Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
Mel Gibson’s movie “The Passion of the Christ” gives a faint glimpse of the hostility against Jesus. As Isaiah said he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and opened not his mouth against his accusers. No matter what happens we can take heart that he gives us the strength to endure as he did.
We thank you for the strength to endure, even if we should suffer for your name!
