Four hundred and thirty years.

Exodus 12:40-41, Now the time that the sons of Israel lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. And it came about at the end of four hundred and thirty years, to the very day, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

The plans of the Lord happen over time, and He is not in a hurry to accomplish them. Peter reminds us that even though we live in a time of scoffers, He is not slow in keeping His plans but He is patient not wishing that any should perish. To Him, “one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is one day.” Are we looking for those opportunities to be used in His plans?

Open opportunities for us to be used in Your plans today, that others might come to repentance!
