And the people bowed low and worshiped.
Exodus 12:26-27, “And it will come about when your children will say to you, ‘What does this rite mean to you?’ that you shall say, ‘It is a Passover sacrifice to the LORD who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He smote the Egyptians, but spared our homes.’” And the people bowed low and worshiped.
It is amazing to consider all that He has done for us. He left His glory to live as one of us, tempted in all ways, yet without sin, that He might be our merciful High Priest. He did all things well, teaching and glorifying His Father in healing the sick, opening the eyes of the blind and raising the dead. And He went to the cross, as the perfect Lamb of God, to set us free from the power of sin and death. What else can we do but to fall at His feet in worship?
We worship You, O Lord!
