The things which He suffered.

Hebrews 5:8, Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.

Jesus has told us that in this world we will have trouble. The Son of God had more trouble than we can ever imagine and in it He was obedient. He has not promised an end to trouble, but He has promised never to leave us nor to forsake us. We may not even be able to sense His presence, for we walk by faith and not by sight. Are we able to walk in obedience?

I know that I am weak but You have overcome the world; help me in my weakness to learn obedience in Your name, Lord Jesus.
