Let your speech always be with grace.

Colossians 4:2-6, Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; praying at the same time for us as well, that God may open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; in order that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak. Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned, as it were, with salt, so that you may know how you should respond to each person.

This month our church has been called to worship and prayer each Wednesday evening, with communion following. It is amazing to see so many young people who are committed, some people driving long distances to pray corporately. History shows that the great revivals of the past have always been movements of prayer. It is exciting to see God move when He calls His people to pray. What opportunities might He open up as we pray for our leaders in the church, for all those friends, family and co-workers who need Him?

Season my speech with grace always; bring Your light to those who so desperately need You!
