Be kind to one another.

Ephesians 4:32, And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

This section of Ephesians is wonderful, with practical ideas about putting away the futility of mind that so easily entangles us in this life and putting on the new self. Unfortunately, I have problems especially when someone close to me hurts me. I can easily become indignant, wondering how it is possible for someone to be so blind. But I have my own blindness, I still slip and sometimes fall. Can I remember this advice to be tender-hearted and forgiving even to those who hurt me?

Help me to love others as You love, especially those who hurt me; I need Your grace every day, O Lord.
