Living water.

John 7:37-39, Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.’” But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Jesus told the woman at the well that He had living water, and that when we drink of His water will never thirst. Jesus has now been glorified and so we have full access to His living water. And we have His assurance that the Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask!

Father, I need to drink deeply of Your living water, I need Your Holy Spirit today and every day; let Your Spirit flow through me as Your river of living water.
