Advanced in years.
Luke 1:18, And Zacharias said to the angel, “How shall I know this for certain? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.”
God is not bound by our constraints. He moves in His own ways to accomplish His purposes. Our own ideas are limited, but His are not. He raised up a nation from Abraham and Sarah, when they were “as good as dead.” When He moves in this way, there is no doubt that it is coming from Him.
We are amazed by Your ways, for Your ways are not our ways, and Your thoughts are not our thoughts, O Lord!
