He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

Mark 1:7-8, And he was preaching, and saying, “After me One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to stoop down and untie the thong of His sandals. I baptized you with water; but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

We are blessed to live on this side of the cross, knowing that when we turn to Him and ask our sins are forgiven! And even better, He offers us help in times of temptation, for He has sent us His Holy Spirit to guide, comfort and seal us for the day of our redemption. What a wonderful fulfillment we have of what John proclaimed!

Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, guide us in all of Your ways today, Lord Jesus!
