Neither do I condemn you.

John 7:10-11, And straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?” And she said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go your way. From now on sin no more.”

Somehow it’s easier for us to hold others to higher standards than it is to hold ourselves to a standard. In the presence of Jesus, and His charge to the accusers, their sin became apparent to them and they turned away. And in the same way this woman, in the presence of Jesus was able to turn from her sin. For it is by His power that we can prevail against sin; in His presence we can be healed to repent and walk in His light!

Open my eyes to Your standards; thank You that You do this not to condemn but to heal!
