My words will not pass away.

Luke 21:29-33, And He told them a parable: “Behold the fig tree and all the trees; as soon as they put forth leaves, you see it and know for yourselves that summer is now near. Even so you, too, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.”

This gives me amazing comfort, to know that we have His word, that His word is going to stand and that His word tells us what to expect even in troublesome times. And when we read and know His word, we know that reading the signs of the times will be no more difficult than reading the signs of the seasons. No one will need to write a book about it, the book has already been written!

We thank You for Your word and our security in You and Your word that gives us such clarity and comfort!
