Faithful in a very little thing.
Luke 16:10-11, “He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous mammon, who will entrust the true riches to you?”
Jesus wants us to recognize the proper place of worldly riches. Obviously He wants us to keep things in perspective, and not to be caught up in the love of money as were the religious leaders of the day. He wants us to use what He has given us to bring glory to His name. Am I able to keep this perspective in view no matter how much or how little He has given me to work with?
We thank You that You can do amazing things even with a mustard seed; help me to use what You have given me wisely, O Lord, to bring glory to Your name!
