Rejoice with me.

Luke 15:8-10, “Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!’ In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Do we really see this as important as a search for a lost coin? It isn’t as if God has lost someone, but that someone is lost. And the exciting part is that we get to be involved in finding him! Are we ready to rejoice as that person recognizes Him as King of King and Lord of Lords?

Lord, help me to see others as You see them; thank You that are willing to use me to help those who are lost!
