Anxious longing of the creation.
Romans 8:19, For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
Paul makes it very clear that our adoption is yet to come, that we are waiting for a glory beyond all imagination. That’s good, because most days my feelings, thoughts and body do not feel redeemed; our walk is by faith, not by sight. And we know that as surely as He was crucified, buried and raised from the dead that our hope will not disappoint us!
Come, Lord Jesus, empower us to walk in the good works You have planned for us today, this day that brings us one day closer to the revealing of your sons of God!
