The things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:5, For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
I am so easily distracted by the things of the world; indeed, the world God has created is so vast and amazing that we can occupy a lifetime studying a particular area and not come to the end of it! I need His help every day in quieting my mind “like a weaned child,” to imagine climbing up in His lap and resting in Him! And without His grace, for the mistakes I so easily make in setting my mind on the flesh, I would be without hope.
Help me at every turn today to set my mind on the things of the Spirit, I need Your help, Lord!
