Faith is reckoned as righteousness.

Romans 4:4-5, Now to the one who works, his wage is not reckoned as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness.

Sin brings forth what we earn, “the wages of sin is death.” And by His marvelous grace, we are brought out of death into new life by faith, fully justified by His perfect sacrifice. We, like Abraham of old, are able to stand before Him and when He looks at us He sees Jesus!

Thank You for paying the price we could never pay; give us the boldness to spread the good news that You have set us free from the wages of sin!
