Do not imitate what is evil.

3 John 1:11, Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.

This seems pretty simple, but there are many people today who deny the existence of evil and try to redefine what is good. We have to remind ourselves that our “struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places.” As we keep on guard, covered in the full armor of God, we can see others through His eyes who need His grace and mercy.

Give me Your eyes to see others, and to pray for them to receive Your grace and mercy, O Lord!
