The marriage of the Lamb.

Revelation 19:7-9, “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. And he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.”

Do we see ourselves as He sees us, as the perfect, bright, clean bride of Christ, clothed and ready for the Bridegroom? He has cleansed us, and has given us the fine bridal linen; He has invited us to be His bride and to celebrate the marriage at the supper of the Lamb! Am I committed to making His bride ready?

Thank You for buying us with Your own blood, for cleansing us, for loving us as Your perfect bride; help us to make ourselves ready for this great wedding every day that You give us!
