The victory that has overcome the world– our faith.

1 John 5:3-4, For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Clearly, keeping His commandments are important, not as something we are doing to “earn our keep,” but to bring glory to God. Some people view this as burdensome, some might even think impossible, and without Him they are impossible. The good news is that He gives us the power we need by faith, for it is He who has overcome the world!

We rejoice in the victory of faith that overcomes the world; I love You and I want to keep Your commandments to bring glory to Your name, Lord Jesus!
