In order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12, To this end also we pray for you always that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power; in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Am I doing it in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified? Some days I like to think that I am. It’s far too easy for me to slide over to the other side and seek the glory for myself!

Keep me in Your word, let my lips bring forth prayers and praise to bring glory to Your Holy Name!
