So that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

Hebrews 12:3, For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

Perhaps we give up too easily, especially when it comes to other people and to taking offense. Fortunately, He is not like that, and the love He has for us is beyond that. His love “bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” When we consider what He endured, “setting His face like a flint towards the cross,” how can we ever give up?

We thank You for Your amazing love for us, that You demonstrated Your love in laying down Your life for us; and for power of Your resurrection!
