His anointing teaches you about all things.

1 John 2:27-28, And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him. And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.

We know that we are jars of clay, and we know that His promise is to “give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.” “And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call to Himself.” Do we see the Holy Spirit as some kind of spiritual fireworks or as our counselor, our advocate, our invited guest in our clay jar? He is ready to teach us about “all things!” Am I ready to listen?

I invite You to come in, I want to hear Your still, small voice today; open my ears that I may learn what You want to teach me, Holy Spirit of God!
